The FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) reported a staggering $9.32 billion lost to cryptocurrency scams in 2024, marking a 66% surge from the previous year. Total cybercrime losses reached $16.6 billion across 859,532 complaints, with crypto-related fraud accounting for the majority of financial damage.
